You will need:

• one red candle
• one white candle
• a small piece of white paper
• protection oil of your choice
• ink pen
• red ribbon

Gather all the materials, and place between the two candles. Place the white candle on the left to represent the Goddess, and the red candle on the right to represent the God. Light the candles.

Using your right index finger, draw a pentacle in the middle of the white paper in the protection oil while repeating the following chant:

"I draw this pentacle and request
this protection charm be blessed."

Using the ink pen, draw your own special symbol for protection inside the center of the pentacle while chanting:

"I draw this rune and I request
this protection charm be blessed."

Curl the paper into a scroll, and seal it tightly with the red ribbon. Without allowing the scroll to burn, hold it over the smoke (if any) of the red candle and say:

"May this charm, through Fire and Air,
protect me with the power I bear."

Repeat this chant holding the scroll over the white candle (again, not allowing the scroll to burn).

Hold the charm in both hands and focus on successfully defending yourself and protecting yourself, empowering the charm with your strength and power.

Using the melted candle wax, seal the left end with white wax, and the right end with red wax. Sealing the ends will keep any negative interference out. If you cannot seal the ends, the paper you selected was too big. Seal the left and right sides as best you can, but you may want to recast the spell with a smaller piece of white paper.

Your protection charm is now finished. You may choose to carry it with you, or store it in a spell box.
