Day and Night are equal. Light and Darkness are in balanced harmony. Today marks the beginning of the season of growth and fertility. Eggs are typically colored around this time to be used as talismans to ensure success in the season upon us, and for future planting.

After many months of gaining knowledge from our past experiences, now is the time to create new experiences and new life from those pearls of wisdom. The trees are awakening, plants are stirring to life, yet we still receive the cold storms of March. And if you live in the same city as I do, you'll know that April showers bring May snowplowers.

It is a time to celebrate the delicate balance created by Nature and Time. And a time to remember our role in the greater balance of the world. What we do affects the world and our brothers and sisters in the world.

Today marks the cleansing of ourselves of the sleepiness of Winter, and the fertility within ourselves to create a better world for all.
